Portrait of Salha.

Normally when working from a photo I prefer to have a reasonably large sized clear image to work from, but in this special commission I was given a very old worn wallet photo which was the only image the owner had of his mother who had died when he was very young.  I transferred that to computer and edited to make a better image to work from.

A smaller sized painting was required which could easily be taken back overseas and I worked in consultation with my client over colours etc.
