Animals

Animals and Family Pets have always been a part of my life. Conveying their nature and the individual

character into each Animal Painting is both pleasure and challenge.  I find Pastel is a very good medium

to work with, especially to convey the texture of fur.  My next choice would be to use oils.

Whilst working on each animal portrait, I feel that I am communicating with the subject on the easel as I go, and this helps to put that really lifelike essence into each portrait.
